Hi All!
Just a quick one to say that work on the main production tools is well underway! We decided to wait a few days extra to gather as much data as possible from the surveys before proceeding with the tooling production at the factory.
The data had shown that the Original/LRG size is the most popular, so rather than having 3 tools of equal size, we've condensed things down. We now have 2 production tools underway - one with 9 cavities for making the Original/LRG hole SIFTR's, and another with 12 cavities for producing both the MED/SML hole variations.
Not only does this save the cost of a 3rd tool, but it also shortens the timeline on waiting for production to begin - so waiting a few extra days was worth the time-investment!
At the time of writing we have 82% survey completion with 21% of you adding extra bits and pieces to your order. A massive thank you to everyone who has filled in their surveys so far!

First off, a massive thank you to everyone for your patience! The address surveys have taken far longer to get setup than we had forecast, and the BackerKit review process took a while too - but we are all signed off and ready for you to get your surveys!
At the time of writing, we have sent the 'smoke test' surveys - this means a random 5% of you will be getting your surveys now so we can ensure everything is working as it should be. The rest of you will be getting them ASAP. (within the next 24hrs!)
To the email address you sign into Kickstarter with - be sure to check it!
For each Trio-Set in your order, you'll be able to choose the original LRG hole sizes, or the new SML/MED/LRG trio. You'll also be able to have a final say on Mono and Tricolour for each set too.
For solo SIFTR orders, you'll also be able to pick the colour and hole size you want!
Once you've confirmed the selection for your reward, you'll see our add-on store next. Pick up extras here (no extra postage fees!)
We've teamed up with our manufacturing partner to offer you two super duper useful additional accessories. They've been up on the preorder store for a couple of weeks now and have proven popular - so grab them while they last!
That's really all for now! Tooling is underway at the factory, and we need you to fill in your surveys as soon as possible so we can finalise the unit quantities in each colour we want to order (plus some stock for after!)

Little did we know that 31 days ago when we hit launch that SIFTR was going to be so well received. Thank you all for your comments, suggestions, requests and questions over the last month!
Over the next 7 days Kickstarter will begin charging your cards. Be sure to log in and check to see if there are any issues (KS will email you if there are so be sure to monitor your inbox!)
Around 7 days on from that, the funds will be released to us. We're going to get a jumpstart on production, get the packaging designs underway and focus on getting SIFTR's out to you all ASAP (The timeline is still December, but if we can ship early, we will!)
This is the important bit. Over the next 7-10 days we're going to get the surveys and add-on store setup. These will be hosted by BackerKit and will enable you to provide your all-important addresses, as well as pick up any extras you want.
For individual SIFTR backers/orders, you'll be able to specify colour and hole-size.
For Trio-set orders, you'll be able to confirm whether you want Mono or Tricolour (for each set), and whether they are all the original hole sizes, or the 3 new hole sizes of small, medium and large.
We'll be sure to post an update when the surveys are ready, explaining how to navigate them and what to expect!
