WOW.
With 3 days to go, we just wanted to say an enormous thank you to everyone who has backed the campaign so far! It has, and continues to, blow our minds at how many people are getting behind SIFTR - an idea born in a state of lockdown!
We hope the success of this campaign can inspire you to launch products of your own one day - great ideas are sometimes born from the most unlikely of places it seems!
Once The Campaign Ends.
In ~70hrs time, the campaign will come to an end. Over the following 7 days Kickstarter will begin charging your cards, and we will have a very good idea of final numbers. We've been keeping a close eye on quantities throughout and we're still well within the manufacturable quantities for our delivery timeline of December!
We're going to order the final tooling in the next week and get ahead in the game!
In 2ish weeks time you'll receive an email from BackerKit requesting your address (don't worry, we'll post an update here too so you'll know to look out for it!). You'll also be able to browse our add-ons store and pick up any extra items you want - without any additional postage fees!

Love it when a plan comes together...
7 days since the first stretch goal update, we've now hit that new target in time for this update to be posted! Clearly it was meant to be!
A big hello and thank you to everyone that has backed since the last update, the growth of this campaign has absolutely blown us away.
Stretch Goal 1 Unlocked!
Since the idea was first raised, we've been talking to our fantastic factory partner - they've been very supportive in answering our questions on how small we can go with the holes, and we're currently testing different layouts/patterns and sizes at the moment. We expect to have these finalised details ready to go during update #3 a week from now.
We've had a few comments/messages from people that don't want their trio sets to arrive with 3 different sizes of hole - this is not a problem at all. To confirm, you will be able to select either the original trios, or the new '3 size variants' at no additional cost doing the post-campaign BackerKit surveys. You'll also be able to pick up extra units too - all 3 hole sizes and colour options will be available!

To say this week has blown all expectations is an understatement...
The response and support on this campaign so far has been fantastic, a huge thank you to each and every one of you!
The Stretch-Goal Conversation.
It seems the most popular stretch goal request is for a SIFTR trio-bundle with different hole sizes, followed closely by a request for SIFTR in different sizes.
We've been doing some testing and are confident that SIFTR is the ideal size - for smaller cans SIFTR sits on top, and for larger cans SIFTR can be fitted inside the rim of the can. They may require a finger to hold them in place, but it works so well and with so little effort it really seems wasteful to produce two sizes specifically for these other sizes of can when the current size still works.
Stretch Goal #1 Dev - Different Hole Sizes.
Below are a couple of renders of the proposed hole-sizes for the first stretch goal. We've spoken to the factory and they've confirmed hole sizes this small are not a problem, but advised against going any smaller. We'll get the holes more evenly distributed (by adding more!) and also sort out the hole sizes in the very middle too!
The holes are 33% and 66% smaller than the original, so there are 3 clear sizes for all your draining needs!
We're thinking of offering the different-sized trio at the exact same price - this means we don't have to create any new reward tiers. When it comes to the Address Surveys at the end of the campaign, you'll be able to decide if you want the original trio's (in Tricolour or Mono) with all the same sized holes, or the different-sizes variation (in Tricolour or Mono).
Ignore the unchanged holes in the middle - these will shrink too!

The beady-eyed among you will notice the logo had not been added to the preproduction samples. Now its been finalised and the campaign target hit, we felt the time was right. It replaces 1 of the 4 grippy bits on the side (it'll still be grippy itself!) and completes the design!
